Innovation at the Heart of Risk Management and Auditing

Paris, January 14, 2023 – During his appearance on BFM Business in the program Focus PME, Frédérick Dupont, founder and managing director of FDU Conseil, unveiled the strengths and ambitions of his company specializing in IT risk management, auditing, and consulting.
FDU Conseil: From Consulting firm to Software development company
Founded in 2017 and based in Clermont-Ferrand, FDU Conseil stands out for its expertise in data management and GDPR compliance.
“Since early 2022, we have also launched a new software publishing activity with the CoAudit platform,” explained Frédérick Dupont.
The firm employs around a dozen staff and is approaching €1 million in revenue. Its clients range from large insurance and pharmaceutical groups to audit firms, with notable collaborations such as with the High Council of Statutory Auditors (H3C).

“In the audit world, it is crucial to quickly establish a climate of trust with our clients. Our values are integrity, pragmatism, and efficiency,” said Frédérick Dupont.
These values enable FDU Conseil to optimize the time spent with clients, aligning its actions with their objectives and risk management needs.
CoAudit: A Software Solution for Auditing and Compliance
The CoAudit software solution, a project developed over more than two years, aims to address the growing number of audits and controls without increasing available time.
“We created this platform to manage audit, control, and compliance campaigns from end to end. Its strengths are ease of implementation, flexibility, security, and data sovereignty,” explained Frédérick Dupont.
Developed in France with local support, CoAudit guarantees the sovereignty of processed data.
Future Ambitions
Frédérick Dupont envisions making CoAudit a major challenger in the sector:
“We have built a solution made by auditors for auditors, which gives us unique expertise. We also plan to launch a full risk management suite, a document exchange platform, and sector-specific adaptations of CoAudit, particularly for statutory auditors, within the next 18 months.”
He concluded the interview by emphasizing the importance of taking great care of existing clients while expanding FDU Conseil’s offering to meet the future needs of the market.
